First, Patrick walks us through the simple process of having your work valued online by one of their many specialists. After having spent several years at Sotheby’s, Patrick drew on his experiences at the auction house to realize there is substantial demand for online appraisals, with valuemystuff.com averaging between 200-300 appraisals per day. Also, he touches on his client base and how it differs from that of an auction house, while also alerting us to some of their new services they offer their customers beyond simply appraisals.
