US & European Art Market Confidence Survey – February 2015
|Report Type||Confidence Survey|
Contemporary art market growth could slow down in 2015, after a record breaking 12 months.
Last year was a historic year for the contemporary art auction market, with Christie’s and Sotheby’s Post-War and Contemporary auctions generating 34% more sales i than in 2013. Despite this, the ArtTactic US and European Art Market Confidence Indicator is now standing 19% lower than January 2014, which signals that art market insiders are less positive about the 6-month outlook and could be a signal that sales growth might be slowing down in 2015.
The report includes individual artist confidence indicators and rankings.
