The New York sales of Chinese and Asian Paintings, Calligraphy and Works of Art dominated last week’s sales. This was the case both by value and number. Out of a total value of $401.8m achieved at auction, 88.2% was made up by the Chinese and Asian sales in New York, compared to $130.4m for the same week last year
The RawFacts newsletter was launched in October 2016 and from November 2016, we started publishing a new research report called RawFacts Monthly. This report present the monthly sales results, performance by regional market, collecting category and auction house market share. The RawFacts Quarterly Auction Review looks at overall auction trends from the most recent months and goes in-depth to dissect and analyse this data. These reports are a part of the Premium Membership.
