British artist Jadé Fadojutimi (b. 1993, London) is best known for her large scale, energetic canvases, that teeter between abstraction and figuration. Central to her creative practice is an investigation of identity, her surroundings, and the complexities of lived experiences. She refers to her paintings as “emotional landscapes,” typically made in bursts of energetic mark making, and with each evoking a memory or experience. Fadojutimi earned a BA from the Slade School of Fine Art (London) in 2015 and an MA from the Royal College of Art (London) in 2017. She currently lives and works in London.
