Italian Post-War and Contemporary art auctions see a 16% increase in sales in 2022:

Despite geo-political and economic uncertainty in 2022, Italian Modern, Post-War and Contemporary artists at Christie’s, Sotheby’s and Phillips saw $160 million in sales totals, up 16% from 2021. However, auction sales by Italian artists remains significantly lower than the levels seen pre-pandemic
