New York’s Evening Sales of Impressionist and Modern Art meet expectations despite 33% decrease in sales total compared to November 2018.
The Impressionist and Modern art evening sales in New York this week raised a total of $341,240,000 (excluding buyer’s premium), falling comfortably within the total pre-sale estimate of $315,850,000 $456,650,000. The sales total was 33.2% lower than November 2018, and also represented a decrease of 47.4% from November 2017.
