London’s Evening Old Masters Sales down 44% from July 2021.

The sales this summer were an odd mix, bringing in a relatively low combined hammer price of £28,805,000 between the two evening sales with just 58 lots between them, which is down 44% from last summer’s sale values, and down 37% in volume. Over the course of the last five years, this summer’s season is down 65%.
