London’s Evening Sales of Impressionist and Modern Art down 37.7% from June 2018, however, Sotheby’s June sale sees 13.1% increase year-on-year.
The Impressionist and Modern art evening sales in London this week raised a total of £115,360,000* (excluding buyer’s premium), falling short of the total pre-sale estimate of £151,650,000 – £211,050,000. The sales total was 37.7% lower than June 2018, and also represented an decrease of 54.5% from June 2017.
