London’s Evening Sales of Impressionist and Modern Art down 20.4% from February 2019, but perform well against pre-sale estimates.
The Impressionist and Modern art evening sales in London this week raised a total of £133,070,000 (excluding buyer’s premium), falling in the middle of the total pre-sale estimate of £115,120,000 – 168,380,000. The sales total was 20.4% lower than February 2019, and represented a decrease of 33.5% from February 2018.
