Sotheby’s and Christie’s Italian Sales were up 21.1% from 2014.

The Italian Evening sales during London’s Frieze week raised a total of £83,563,000 (including buyer’s premium), just short of the pre-sales high estimate, but well within the range estimates of £58,800,000 to £83,700,000. The total between Sotheby’s and Christie’s was 21.1% higher than October 2014 and almost the double, or 99.5% higher than October 2013.
