This new artist report from ArtTactic takes a closer look at Adam Pendleton’s market and the eco-system supporting him, bringing together biographical data, auction analysis and expert opinions.

Adam Pendleton came to the art world’s attention in 2008, when he received his first major solo show at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art and launched his Black Dada manifesto at Manifesta 7. He joined Pace Gallery in 2012, the youngest artist to do so since the 1970s and in 2015, he became the youngest artist to represent the Belgian Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale. In March this year, Pendleton joined David Kordansky Gallery (LA) with his first solo show scheduled for November and he also has an upcoming multimedia installation Who is Queen? at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York (dates to be confirmed).
