In this episode of the ArtTactic, we’re joined by Thomas Woodham-Smith, creative director of Masterpiece London, to talk about their ongoing fair, which offers fine art, antiques, design and more. First, Thomas discusses the diversity of the exhibitors in terms of what they show as well as where they originate. Then, he talks about the cross-over effect he witnesses at the fair, in which collectors are uniquely exposed to several collectibles within one fair. Also, Thomas reports on the level of sales activities at the fair thus far and tells us if individuals are starting to view other luxury goods such as watches and jewelry as alternative asset classes similar to fine art.
