In this episode of the ArtTactic, we're joined by Yan Walther, executive director of Fine Arts Expert Institute, based in the Geneva Freeport specializing in the scientific study of artworks. First, Yan explains the technology behind some of the services FAEI offers such as scientific imaging and dating of materials for artworks. Then, he discusses why previously such technologies have been primarily utilized by larger institutions such as museums but have not been available to collectors or galleries. Lastly, Yan elaborates on why FAEI is based in the Geneva Freeport and how beneficial it is to his business.
