Photography sales show resilience in a challenging global art market
Total photography sales at Sotheby’s, Christie’s and Phillips came in at $59.0 million in 2024, down 5.6% from 2023. Despite the decline, the photography market performed better than the wider art market, which fell by 27% year-on year.
