Demand for AI-generated art is set to increase over the next 12 months

We are delighted to announce the first edition of The Hiscox Art and AI Report 2024 (in partnership with ArtTactic). This inaugural Hiscox Art and AI Report 2024 focuses on art buyers’ and art lovers’ perception of AI-generated art, and its value and potential as a collectible. Can AI-generated art ever be as important and valuable as art created by humans? We examine the relationship between the economic and cultural value of human versus machine creativity, as well as legal and ethical issues around authorship and intellectual property. We also look at how AI-generated art already co-exists with the traditional art market, as well as its potential to create new markets outside of the art market.
