In this edition of the ArtTactic Podcast, we speak with Bernard Duffy, Managing Director of Emotional Assets Management & Research, a unique investment advisory boutique focusing exclusively on emotional assets. Bernard shares with us the structure as well as the motivation behind establishing Emotional Assets Fund I, his recently launched hybrid structured fund that invests in several emotional assets, including fine art. Then, Bernard compares the performance of art to other alternative "emotional" assets that the fund is investing in. Lastly, Bernard provides his long-term outlook on the art market and emotional assets in general, by arguing that the economy will continue to push investors towards tangible assets.
